Here are the trailers for the the video game, The Force Unleashed. In was released near the end of 2008 on PS2, PS3, Wii, XBox360, iphone, N-gage, Nintendo DS, PC and the PSP.
In this adventure you play the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice known as Starkiller. A fun third-person action game, filled with glorious graphics and magnificent sounds. However, the apprentice Starkiller is way way to powerful in the force to ever think this story could fit neatly into the Star Wars timeline. Rather ridiculous in fact. But anyway, if you ignore this, an impressive game.
Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back. I love the feel of these original trailers. They really make the Movies seem epic.
The voice over style has been used in the recent cartoon Clone Wars series at the beginning of each show.
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is set 3 years after the events of Episode 4: A New Hope and was released to Movie goers in 1980.
This fifth installment sees the Empire bouncing back from the destruction of the Death Star and its continued perusal of the growing Rebellion. Luke Skywalker confronts and battles Darth Vader for the first time where he tells him those memorable words, "No, I am your father". Luke doesn't take the news well.
As Empire was made many years before the prequels, it was the film to first introduce the skilled and mysterious Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett, Grand Jedi Master Yoda and also the suave business man, Lando Calrissian.
A Special enhanced version of the movie was later released in 1997.
The budget of the Movie was $33 Million and it grossed over $538 Million worldwide.
Although released over 20 years after the initial movie, A New Hope, The Phantom Menace was Episode 1 of the Star Wars Saga. Below is the Movie Trailer curtesy of YouTube.
George Lucas had always said he had more or less the whole story in his mind before the original Star Wars was released, but it was way too long. Essentially, he edited it down so a single story could be told in A New Hope. The Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi followed. Of course, these were all a massive success.
When he thought movie technology had advanced to the level he needed it to, George Lucas decided the time was right to go back and produce Episodes 1,2 and 3 which he originally had to cast aside.
The orginal budget of Episode 4: A New Hope was 11 Million Dollars and released in 1977. Episode 1: The Phantom Menace had a budget of 115 Million Dollars and was released in 1999. How times changed!
Star Wars - The Phantom Menace grossed $924,317,558 in Movie Theatres worldwide.
